Loose fur has a way of gathering on a favorite seat. Test an inconspicuous patch, then move the roller back and forth across suitable dry upholstery. This tool is for fabric surfaces, never directly on an animal.

A place for collected hair to go

The built-in rear chamber holds the collected fur until you empty it. Open the compartment after use and remove the hair before your next cleanup. The housing can be wiped; the pickup fabric should stay dry.
